NEET 2017 Result on – CBSE will declare NEET Result 2017 on or before June 26 following the Supreme Court order on June 12. The official NEET 2017 Answer Key has published on June 15 and can be challenged till June 16. This was declared through a CBSE notification posted on June 12 after the Supreme Court order. CBSE conducted National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) on May 7, 2017. NEET 2017 was held offline (pen and paper based). Admissions to about 90,000 MBBS and BDS seats across the country will be through NEET. About 11,50,000 candidates had filled the NEET 2017 application form from January 31 to April 5, 2017. * Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Maninder Singh, appearing for the CBSE, told the Supreme Court that challenge to the different sets of questions in vernacular languages were on wrong assumptions that they were difficult as the experts had examined that they were different from those in English or Hindi medium but the level of difficulty cannot be said to be different.

Singh said that questions were different to keep the larger interest protected on the ground that if there was a leakage of a set of paper in a vernacular language, the majority of students would be protected as candidates appearing in any particular language were less than those opting for English or Hindi.

* Singh also contended that that a number of pleas have been filed in various high courts in NEET 2017 result-related matters and the high courts have entertained these petitions despite the apex court’s order that no other court shall hear such matters.

NEET Result 2017

The NEET 2017 result will be declared by CBSE on or before June 26, delayed from the previously scheduled date of June 8. Candidates will have to log in and check their NEET result. Based on the cut off score of NEET, the exam conducting authority will declare a merit list for 15% All India Quota seats. Only NEET 2017 All India Quota qualified candidates will be allowed to participate in the 15% All India Quota counselling and accordingly seats will be allotted as per the candidate’s rank and preference.
